Job Title: Inventory Associate

Job Summary:

Due to continuing growth, Owl is hiring for an Inventory Associate. In this new role you will be responsible to execute on and drive processes that ensure inventory accuracy, deliver effective property control and report audit activities to support the production of Owl products.

This position will report to Owl’s Danbury office daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Receives and stocks inventory items
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy. Performs accurate weekly, quarterly and year end/cycle physical inventory counts.
  • Monitors inventory levels with Supply Chain Planner to ensure safety stock levels are sufficient.
  • Generate appropriate weekly status reports.
  • Pull product material kits for production, contract manufacturers and customer shipments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements/Qualifications:
 
  • Education
    • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Experience
    • One year of inventory control-related experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Analytical, multi-tasking and critical thinking skills required.
    • Knowledge of inventory and MS Excel; proficiency in PC-based applications
    • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
    • Excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have excellent organizational skills.
    • Must adapt well to changing environment.
  • Additional Competencies/Requirements
    • Due to Owl’s Government contracts, US Citizenship is required
