Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tasks include but are not limited to
- Rack, assemble, and mount computer hardware
- Perform hardware, firmware, or software installations and upgrades
- Perform hardware and software configuration and networking.
- Perform hardware and software troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education
- High school diploma
- Working towards College degree in a relevant field of study, e.g., computer science, system engineering or related engineering fields.
- RHCSA or CNSA certification is a plus
- Experience
- 0-1 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, Software Development, or Systems Engineering
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic Knowledge of TCP and UDP networking concepts
- Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux and its derivatives (Fedora, CentOS). but not necessary.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
- Additional Competencies/Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent ability to closely and precisely follow and interpret written and verbal directions.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
- US Citizenship required.
