Job Summary:
The VP role with Owl is as representative and activator of sales opportunities CONUS & OCONUS focused on the US Federal marketplace, Also, responsible for direct sales into the Five Eyes, FMS programs and targets DCS to International Governments.
SCOPE OF ROLE: Responsible for developing and managing a team across strategic accounts in both existing and new customers in Owl’s Federal marketplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a team across US Federal marketplace with particular focus on programs where Owl wins and maintain leadership
Act as the Enterprise sales manager for new and existing Strategic Programs within the Navy and fill gaps outside Acct Manager as needed
Manage of the sales engineering dedicated to Federal and dotted line for SME’s
Sell the offerings by developing relationships with decision makers and individuals to drive new business outside of named accounts
Identify and qualify opportunities to pass onto Territory Acct reps or close based on territory and goals
Creating focused territory plans to nurture and develop opportunities to drive your revenue targets
Develop key strategies to create strong virtual team/resources to maximize sales within the assigned territory
Engage effectively with other areas of the business: Business Development, Capture, Pre-Sales Engineering, Sales Operations and Marketing
Assist with sales & marketing campaigns into target markets
Actively build a strong network of contacts within the customer and partner ecosystem and coordinate marketing efforts to end users and prospects
Accountable for meeting assigned Sales Personal & Team Quota including end user sales, qualifying sales and partner goals
Assist in managing Customer Excellence Center experience in Columbia and coordinating with sales and technical personnel
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field is highly desired
Experience
5-10 years sales management and sales experience in the Federal Marketplace
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Candidates must have a strong knowledge of the Federal segments, decision making process and program management
Proven track record in exceeding quota and consistent over-performance in new business sales as an individual contributor
Successful experience of building relationships within target accounts
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at senior levels with internally and external organizations
Previous experience of working within the CDS marketplace or network-based boundary protection and voice/video communications
Proven experience developing and managing Fed Channel & Fed System Integrators
Knowledge of selling into the Five Eyes or FMS programs a plus
Accredited sales training would be a plus
Additional Competencies/Requirements
This position can support working from home in a hybrid setting
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
