Job Summary:
Owl is hiring a Sales Executive for our Commercial sector. In this role, you will be selling Owl’s suite of network boundary appliances (namely data diodes and cross domain solutions) and services. Orchestrating the support of Owl’s marketing department, sales engineers, product management team, and existing sales team members you will drive new business and grow existing accounts – we work as a team here at Owl! We need you to bring your passion for protecting mission critical technology, relationship building skills and track record of success to our sales organization to drive our high-growth, cyber technology company forward.
What you will be expected to do:
Develop assigned territory and customer account plans across the North American Critical Infrastructure accounts, Systems Integrators, and Partners through business-to-business sales of Owl products, services, installations, trainings and customized professional services
Effectively partner with and orchestrate sales resources (e.g., marketing, sales engineers, solutions architects, professional services, and executives) to develop customer use cases, relationships, to close technical sales based on best value.
Apply market leading solutions with an understanding of customers, competition, technology, stakeholders, and influencers.
Manage multiple accounts within your given territory
Contribute to a culture of engineers and business leaders who are passionately working to solving customer problems, while striving for excellence, and leading technical change.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education
Degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology highly desired
Experience
10+ years of experience selling technology solutions, network appliances and cybersecurity products in commercial markets. Having established relationships within this space is crucial to success
Candidates who have experience in selling Cross Domain Solutions and Data Diodes are highly desired
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Relevant technical sales experience in technology and cyber defense
Previous hands-on technical experience as an engineer is preferred, but not a hard requirement
Experience meeting and presenting to C-level/executive level contacts within customer accounts
Demonstrated history of closing complex technology solutions, while achieving/exceeding quotas
Must have excellent analytical and forecasting skills
Experience using Salesforce or other comparable CRM
