Job Summary:
The Associate Production Technician supports the assembly, configuration, testing, and shipment of Owl Cyber Defense’s secure hardware and software products. Working as part of the Production team, this entry-level role performs hands-on technical work including product assembly and testing, software installation and configuration, component inspection, troubleshooting, and preparation of customer orders. The position is well suited for someone with a foundational understanding of electronics, strong mechanical aptitude, and an interest in developing hands-on experience in a technical production environment.

Salary:
The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 and $26.50 USD/hr. This range represents Owl Cyber Defense Solutions' good-faith estimate of the pay rate for this position at the time of posting. Placement within the range will depend on factors such as relevant work experience, geographic location, education, training, certifications, key skills, internal equity, market data, and other job-related considerations. Compensation will not be below any applicable local minimum wage. This position is also eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus program, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan.

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test Owl Cyber Defense products according to documented procedures
- Install and configure software in alignment with sales order requirements
- Inspect incoming raw materials for defects and compliance with specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with non-conforming components
- Maintain and operate test equipment, including bench-top instruments and proprietary hardware/software tools
- Assemble and debug test boards and custom test fixtures
- Assist in the installation, qualification, and maintenance of production equipment
- Coordinate and prepare outbound shipments for customer orders
- Adhere to established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Support general department operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and other team responsibilities as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education
- Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent technical training or relevant hands-on experience
- Experience
- 0–1 year of relevant experience in electronics, manufacturing, assembly, testing, or a technical production environment
- Experience with electromechanical assembly, box build, or PCB programming experience a plus
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Basic understanding of general electronics and experience using electronic test equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity in computer-based systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
- Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on safety, precision, and results
- Additional Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license
- Candidates must be able to obtain/maintain a US Government security clearance.
