Job Summary:

Owl is hiring an Inside Sales Representative. In this role you will assist the commercial sales team with sales activities, ranging from research on long-term business development opportunities, to day-to-day administrative work on current deals.  The commercial sales team covers all commercial business globally, and manages a global distribution network to facilitate transactions and support customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow up on commercial sales leads, and make warm introductions to distribution partners as needed
  • Generate quotes for deals for both distribution partners and end-users
  • Track and pursue renewal opportunities in coordination with sales reps
  • Develop new opportunities by following through on trade show leads
  • Generate and distribute reports to distribution partners and Owl management
  • Work with sales and Owl legal team to gather and record required compliance documentation regarding orders
  • Acknowledge and process purchase orders from customer and distributors, and submitting the deals to the sales operations team.
  • Coordinate with the support team and customers to plan delivery activities

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Education
    • Preferred College Degree
  • Experience
    • Experience in working with MS Teams using cloud-based file management, Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint and/or related online collaborating tools and systems. 
    • 1-3 years of work experience in order processing, customer service, event scheduling. 
 
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    • Excel, Power Point, Office 365 
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
    • Experience professionally communicating with external and internal. 
    • Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, Costpoint, SharePoint, or other similar systems preferred. 
    • Ability to prioritize, categorize, and act on different types of communications via e-mail, direct message, and responses on an internal ticketing system. 
    • Ability to manage and coordinate through multiple channels of communication simultaneously. 
    • The ability to track the progress of multiple tasks, documenting and resolving roadblocks as needed. 
    • Candidates must be in proximity to Owl’s Danbury office to be able to be in the office at least 1 day per week
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and the flexibility to pivot when needed.
